Bishop T.D. Jakes is one of America's & the World's preacher. With an illustrious preaching career that has spanned over 50 years, one cannot ignore the impact he has made in America and the world yet in a silent way.
Personally, while growing up, I used to listen to Bishop T.D. Jakes a lot, whenever I was free during my free time while pursuing my studies in school.
And I noticed one thing amongst many notable things. He used to focus on the people the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, focused on: the prisoners,the sick, the poor, those who are lacking in shelter, clothing, knowledge and food. It was visible during his conferences, like Woman Thou at Loosed and ManPower. You would see prisoners joining with non-prisoners, listening to the word of God.
And he also used to lift up other pastors who would come and also talk to the same people, both the prisoners and non-prisoner populations of America, which were predominantly black people . So it was very touching to see that even a prisoner gets the word of God. As the Lord said, they are the least of the world and he is the least of the world also.
So with that, all that he has done, he has also done great work in Africa. He has a hospital in Kenya known as Siloam Hospital, and Africa is very nascent in health care services. Most hospitals are just almost becoming 50 years old by now. So for him to build a hospital in this time period in the history of Africa, that is commendable, him being a former slave.
So I just thought to myself that it would be wonderful for the Nobel Committee to consider his illustrious philanthropy to mankind in America, especially the most vulnerable in America, due to the economic disparities that exist in America, despite its economic might in the world.
So below, I have a summary of Bishop T.D Jakes' political views, which are very poignant yet powerful in the sense that he doesn't take a side when it comes to politics, which is a wise way to navigate through the political waters of the planet yet also calling those who take up side as wise to the extent of how truthful the policies of the side are grounded in truth aka science. Of course, some people have different views about politics and faith, or politics and church, or church and state. I for one know that God is everything and therefore he is the church and he is the state. And he is also the people who are to be served by both of them.
And in that case, at the end of the day, the government has to meet the needs of the people and the church has to meet the needs of the people. And needs include the basic needs: food, clothing, and shelter. And guess what? Also information. That's what the church gives, the word of God, the information of God. It's beyond explanation.
You know how much you gain from the word of God you've received from every quarter. Especially in this age where you don't need to go to a building to receive the word of God. It is there next to you, on your smartphone, on your smart TV, in the restaurants, in the clubs, on the radio, when you listen to songs that talk about God and remind you that God loves you and God keeps you on this planet till the time comes for you to go to the next planet by you leaving your body behind and acquiring a new body in Planet Heaven.
So I am very impressed with Bishop T. Jakes, and I know and believe that the departed heroes of the faith, especially Black American heroes like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Fred Hampton Sr., Scott Heron and the Black Journal founders and Reverend Jesse Jackson, now thathe has gone to heaven, and also Reverend James Cleveland, gay pastor of God, are very proud of him together also with Bayard Rustin. Reason being he has managed in his over 70 years of life on planet Earth to help the Black community in America post Martin Luther King Jr. that is a very peculiar and special community together with Jews ,the most peculiar due to their history and their survival history in America.
So God bless Bishop T. D Jakes and his family, together with Prime Minister Netanyahu & President Trump & their families and may the Nobel Committee consider and study theirs profile. And I know one thing, they will be utterly shocked at his immense contribution to the development of human life of the most vulnerable in society in America and the world.
